Approx. 50 ft. x 60 ft. (15.25m x 18.25m)
Anomy, for U.S. News is a generative audiovisual art work that uses live information from popular media outlets across the United States in combination with data sanitization and sound synthesis algorithms to generate a non-terminating, non-repeating visual scroll and musical score. In August 2018, we formatted the work for display on a multi-story media facade at Daegu Station as a feature installation for the 2018 International Computer Music Conference in Daegu, South Korea. The installation included street-level audio and ran in 20-minute intervals alongside other works throughout the week-long conference.
